A 2001 Mercedes-Benz SL600 with just 427 miles (687 km) is for sale at the Mercedes-Benz Classic center in Irvine, California.

The model offered for sale is from the latest series manufactured by Mercedes-Benz.

Mercedes-Benz R129 had a long service life being produced for 12 years from 1989 to 2011.

The top-of-the-line 600SL appeared in 1992 and had the 6-liter V12 engine from the S 600 (W140) under the hood and developed 394 hp.
The engine was the same that Mercedes-Benz offered for first Pagani Zonda.

The name was changed in 1993 to the SL600. The immense power of the V12 engine is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed automatic gearbox and torque converter introduced to the 1995 facelift for the SL500 and SL600.

The SL600 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds, a good value for those times but shadowed by the only 4.3 seconds that the current generation R231 needs in the SL 550 Roadster version today.

The vehicle featured here has never been titled and it still retains its MSO (Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin) documentation which we as a manufacturer provide to our new car dealerships to title a car to its first owner.  It presents in incredible condition with a mere 427 miles (687 km) from new and is ready for its first owner.

In addition to the standard equipment, the model on sale has AMG Styling package with spoiler and AMG side sills, lightweight AMG alloy wheels, radio 30 Audio with US specificiation, exclusive leather upholstery and Hi-Fi audio system.

The price is $ 135,000, with almost $ 20,000 more than the current R231  SL 550 Roadster equipped with a 4.7-liter bi-turbo V8 and 449 hp.
