The Armored G-Class by Brabus made its rounds on the internet approximately one year ago. But it gets a brand-new round of attention, as it shows up on the Supercar Blondie Channel. How does it actually look?

The armored Brabus G-Class is the stylish offroader integrates nearly-invisible maximum protection of class VR6 plus ERV. The experts designed the overall ballistic concept for a maximum protective effect right from the start. The car is available in three different variants: Pure, Luxury and Mission.

The engineers from Brabus developed a self-supporting, self-bolted structural cell, that they named the Invicto Shelter Cell. The cell got inserted into the body of the vehicle in a disassembled state. The car was constructed afterwards. Therefore, there is a zero-joints design. Experts mounted the components straight to the shelter cell without leaving any gaps.

Before they released it, they tested every single material pairing and screw connection, shooting at them from several angles and differet projectile types and speeds.

Brabus also worked on the performance of the armored G-Class. The 4.0-liter V8 engine with Brabus 800 PoewerXtra + specification now delivers 1,000 Nm of torque, while output went from 585 straight to 800 horsepower. Despite the extra weight, the top speed is 210 km/h.

Dubai-based car vlogger Supercar Blondie got her hands on the armored G-Class that Brabus built. It is the Mission version that she introduces during the almost 14-minute video.

The armored Brabus G-Class is quite a military vehicle

The Invicto badge replaces the usual three-pointed star or the Brabus logo that we usually see on the cars that the tuners work on.

An escape trap in the roof panel, a display that controls the lights in the glove box and a speaker that helps communication with the people outside are part of the menu.

There is also an oxygen tank that prevents suffocation in case of a toxic attack. The rearview mirror is actually a rear view camera, as the armored rear window does not exactly provide impeccable visibility.

Towards the end of the video, the tamed Pure version shows up.
