“Oh, my God!” Those are the words that come out of every driver’s mouth when they fill in the gas tank. But sometimes the reward is the “Oh, my God” type as well. The guys from Throttle House know it. They just took out the outrageous MegaRaptor 6×6 and the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6×6 by Brabus.

The guys at Throttle House were in search of some ridiculous machinery. They wanted the biggest examples of showing off in the street, some insane move of automotive excess. “And it’s crap to drive, too,” Thomas says.

The Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG6×6 by Brabus sports the AMG’s twin-turbo V8 which now delivers 690 horsepower (700 PS). It is a 1 out of 2 units ever built. And it costs… You’d better sit down for this. $2 million. Yes, you read that right. And it’s simply covered in red carbon fiber. Red is the Brabus fine leather on board, because what other color screams “Look at me!” more than red does?

Thomas really thought he was the king of the road until James showed up in “that thing.” The thing is really an opponent to match. It is the Ford F-350-based MegaRaptor 6×6, the only one ever made.

What is far from matching is, of course, the price. It was CAD 400,000. That’s about $310,000 at the current exchange rate. The engine bay hosts a completely rebuilt  f6.7-liter power stroke turbo diesel, capable of 1,000 horsepower (1,013 PS). The wheels, valued at around $5,000 each, can withstand bullets and landmines. Why is that, you may ask? We’re dealing with 6, 7 military-grade wheels, respectively. But the sound at high speed is something you’d block out. If possible.

On the road, they’re bigger than anything. Well, not trucks and buses. Anything else but those, though. They’re even too big for lanes and roads, corners and parking lots, as Thomas and James from Throttle House discovered.
