It used to be a Mercedes-AMG G 63. But it is way more than that right now. The reason is paying a visit to the Brabus workshop and another one to Fostla.

Meet the Brabus 700 Widestar with Fostla wheels. It begins with the enormous Brabus badge on the radiator grille and it ends with that iconic spare wheel in the rear, now stored away in a new case. Everything in between them screams power and aggression.

The boxy off-roader got an extensive carbon fiber package that focused on a new bonnet, on the wider fenders and on the newly redesigned bumpers. A black extension of the roof at the rear, additional air vents and black mirror casings complete the looks of the vehicle.

Fostla worked on lowering the car by 30 millimeters, while Brabus fitted it with the massive 24-inch tires called Monobloc Z Platinum Edition wrapped in 295/35 tires at the front and 355/25 tires at the rear. Brabus-made calipers adorn the colossal wheels.

The cabin of the model has also been overhauled. The seats are covered in black leather with contrasting white stitching, while the headliner is hidden in Alcantara, with perforations to allow the star-like ambiance lighting. Carbon fiber inserts highlight the exclusive sporty atmosphere inside.

And it’s all down to figures

The Brabus 700 Mercedes-AMG G 63 by Fostla has not been designated “700” for nothing. It is a hint to the new output churned out by the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, that also develops 950 Nm of torque. Compared to the standard G 63, it gets an additional 115 PS output and 100 Nm extra torque.

It is now capable of rushing from a standstill to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.3 seconds all the way to a top speed electronically limited at 240 km/h (149 mph).
