The Brabus 800 Adventure XLP is now 27.1 inches (68.9 centimeters) longer, going as long 17.4 feet (5.31 meters). 20 inches (50 centimeters) have been added to the wheelbase.

The AMG 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that operates under the bonnet of the high-performance off-roader received two Brabus-made turbochargers with larger compressors and new mapping, that make the power unit deliver 800 horsepower and 1,000 Nm of torque, hence the name of the resulting vehicle.

Brabus accounts its new 800 Adventure XLP with a run from a standstill to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4,8 seconds on its way to a top speed electronically limited at 130 mph (210 km/h). Why so slow, speed enthusiasts may ask. It is due to the massive all-terrain tires that Brabus equipped the car with.

The vehicle will be on display next week at the Geneva Motor Show. A Wingcopter, the drone designed to carry aid supplies to remote areas, will keep it company. It has a range of up to 75 miles (120 kilometers) and can fly at a maximum speed of 150 km/h (240 km/h).
