The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class underwent its first ever tuning procedure. And who else would operate it but Brabus?

Brabus wanted to be the first tuning house to work its magic on the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury saloon. Therefore the company installed a new front spoiler designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency. The model also received new side air intake surrounds. There are integrated LED side markers. Meanwhile, a rear bumper insert sports new cutouts for the exhaust pipes. A carbon boot lid spoiler also showed up at the rear.

Brabus offers tailormade 19-, 20- and 21-inch aluminium wheels. The Platinum Edition alloys come with special patterns. The car in the photos wears the 21-inch set with 265/35 tires at the front and 305/30 at the rear.

The Brabus experts took the decision of taking the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class closer to the tarmac by up to 25 millimeters, depending on the selected driving mode.

The interior of the Brabus-made new Mercedes-Benz S-Class overwhelms with luxury

Inside the luxury saloon, they fitted a new leather upholstery in porcelain white and black. All switches now bear shadow chrome coating. There are carbon fiber trim and exclusive scuff plates, capable of lighting up in white or synchronously changing colors with following the pattern of the ambient lighting.

As expected, Brabus worked on the engine as well. Therefore the 3.0-liter mild-hybrid inline-six engine of the S500 gets extra 65 horsepower and 70 Nm of torque. It is thanks to a plug-and-play module that takes the power unit to 500 horsepower and 590 Nm of torque. Instead of the standard 4.9 seconds required for the acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h, the model now only takes 4.7 seconds. The top speed remains electronically limited at 250 km/h.

Those who would prefer a diesel variant though, can go for the 400 d with 370 horsepower and 750 Nm instead of the usual 330 horsepower and 700 Nm.
