The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class is so high tech that we forgot about its looks. Now that the craze has passed, we get to see how it looks in various shades, from the ones offered free of charge to the one going over 3,000 euros.
Twelve colors are available for the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Black basic color and Polar white basic are the only ones available for no additional cost.
Canvasite blue metallic requires extra 1,035.30 euros in Germany. Iridium silver metallic comes for the exact same surcharge. Other shades with the same cost are the elegant Selenite Grey metallic, the warm Citrine Brown metallic and the unusual yet interesting Kallait Green metallic. The noble Diamond silver metallic and the very practical Obsidian Black metallic require the same additional fee.
We pass on to the next price level with the rich and vibrant Designo Hyacinth Red metallic, available for 1,463.70 euros.
Customers need to pay 1,963.50 euros in case they tick the Diamond White Bright box for their new E-Class.
Ad saving the most expensive for last, Designo Selenite Grey Magno comes for extra 3,332 euros.
All this costs are added to whatever other features and equipment line the customer specifies to get his brand-new business limousine – the smartest yet on the market – in his garage.

What a shame the colour range is so bland and limited. I would have loved to be able to buy one with more of a British racing green (tan interior would be the match) colour than that boring grey green on offer.
