We’ve come this far to go through this! We already know the conclusion, but for the sake of humor, the test carried out by CarWow is really worth a try, even though the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S is about 10 times more expensive than the Romanian Dacia Logan MCV. Let’s hope you’ve got your sense of humour function activated today!

The Mercedes-AMG E 63 S is probably the high-toned wagon out there. It stands as safe, poten, capable to take the kids to school and their father to the racetrack for a bit of fun. 612 horsepower thrown on the asphalt by the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo, 4-wheel drive and a 9-speed 9G-Tronic automatic transmission, all going as high as approximately 127,000 euros.

In the opposite corner, there proudly stands the budgest car, Dacia Logan MCV, the cheapest wagon out there. In the test carried out by the British journalists, the bonnet of the Dacia shelters a 0.9-liter engine with 90 horsepower and a 5-speed Easy-R automated transmission. In a top equipment line, the SL Prestige Plus, the Logan MCV starts at approximately 12,000 de euro.

“Dacia is twice as good as the Mercedes – logic dictates for one of the viewers – because it is ten times cheaper, but only 5 times worse than the Mercedes.”

The premium German car runs the quarter of a mile in 11.2 seconds. Somewhere far behind, here comes the Dacia, with 18 seconds. It’s 1-0 for the 3-pointed star wagon.

In the 20-second test, the Dacia reached approximately 128 km/h (80 mph). The Mercedes got double in the same amount of time: 265 km/h (165 mph).

Still, the Dacia won one of the 5 tests. Watch the video below to see which one it was!

Those who watched said they are now expecting a test between the fastest production car, the Koenigsegg Agera RS, and the long-gone East German Trabant.
