Future Mercedes-Benz B-Class shows up in an official teaser ahead of its debut at the Paris Motor Show. The 26-second video is quite revealing, showing much of the interior of the new MPV, the radiator grille and the outline of the side.
The short video is more revealing than the spy photos that we have been seeing for months. We get a glimpse of the overhauled interior in the company’s official teaser. The car is getting the latest revolutionary MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system, based on artificial intelligence, that premiered with the new A-Class last February.

New air vents, leather and ambience lighting are few of the goodies that can be found onboard the new B. The video also shows three seats at the rear, that can be folded down individually, thus creating a flat space.
The images of the exterior are pretty discrete, protecting the image of what the company calls B-Class “dynamic”, arriving to fight the fate’s favored crossovers, with its values established since 2005, when it first made it to the market: compact proportions and generous space.

The car will roll on the new Modular Front Architecture (MFA) and it will follow the engine strategy of its sleeker sibling, the A-Class compact. Thus, an entry-level 1.3-liter turbocharged petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel and a 2.0-liter petrol should be available in the B-Class range. An electric variant might take over from the B-Class Electric Drive, but as a member of the EQ electric family, whose first member, the Mercedes-Benz EQC, has already seen the light of day.
