Designed to comply with the strict future RDE legislation (Real Driving Emissions), the new OM 654 diesel engine is the perfect unit for the fleet. The car is also fitted with Active Brake Assist with distance and collision warning, situation-sensitive braking assistance and autonomous braking function, that may very well help the crew while their chasing the bandits.

The smart assumed the role in zero emissions driving back in 2007 and since then, electric or not, it has been a favorite of the police forces. At the GPEC, the fortwo and forfour ED versions will be on display. A smart fortwo cabriolet electric drive will complete the fleet.

The Mercedes-Benz Vans is also represented at the fair. The Sprinter, the Vito Tourer and the eVito, the new X-Class are on the team.
