A video of a man trying to remove the device clamping the right front wheel of his Mercedes-Benz S-Class before allegedly attacking the security guard, who was filming everything, has gone viral.
The almost 40-second video, taken at a condominium facility in George Town, Malaysia, shows the man trying to remove the clamp with a steel-cutter. After several failed attempts, he drops the cutter on the ground, looks at the security guard and then picks up the tool again. He then dashes to the man who films and blows are subsequently heard on the recording together with screams, confirming a violence scene.
“The 43-year-old victim is a security guard working at the condominium. He claimed to have been attacked by the businessman, a condominium resident, for taking the video on his smartphone”, the police reps told after the incident.
The victim, part of the team that had clamped the wheel of the S-Class, said the Mercedes sedan had been parked in that spot for too long, violating the facility regulations.
The victim was admitted to hospital with severe injuries on his left hand and forehead.
“Both parties have each lodged police reports. We are collecting statements from witnesses and viewing the CCTV footage before referring the case to the deputy public prosecutor’s office”, police told reports dispatched at the scene.
