In other words, a four-cylinder 2.0-liter petrol engine producing 211 hp (155 kW) and a maximum torque of 350 Nm is paired to an electric motor delivering 60 kW and 340 Nm of torque. The entire hybrid system offers a total output of 279 hp (205 kW) and 600 Nm of torque, managed via a standard-fit 7G-TRONIC PLUS 7-speed automatic transmission.

In both the sedan and estate guise, the Mercedes-Benz C 350e offers a combined fuel consumption figure of just 2.1 l/100 km and an all-electric range of up to 31 kilometres.

The battery can be charged from an external power source; one charging cycle lasts around one hour and a half when done at a wallbox or two hours when done from a socket.
