The new Mercedes-Benz C-Class will be hitting U.S. soil this spring. MBUSA announces prices for the sedan almost a year after the premium car maker pulled the curtain of its new-generation C-Class.
The entry-level C-Class is the C 300 with the Premium trim, starting at $43,550. Those who tick the optional 4MATIC all-wheel drive box will have to pay $2,000 extra. The previous Mercedes-Benz C-Class generation, still available for customers in the U.S., stared below the current price tag, at $41,600.
The C 300 gets the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with 48 V mild-hybrid assistance. The system sends to the tarmac 255 PS (255 HP) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It’s the same output that the former generation came with, but the torque rose 22 lb-ft (30 Nm) from the previous 273 lb-ft.
The price gap between the front-wheel drive and the all-wheel drive version was the same.
The driver gets a digital 12.3-inch instrument panel and the 11.9-inch infotainment display with the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) system with fingerprint scanner. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity is also part of the standard equipment. So are the heated front seats, the sunroof and interior lighting. The car runs on 18-inch wheels and benefits from the presence of LED lighting with adaptive high-beam assist.
Higher up in the range of the new-gen C-Class there is the Exclusive trim with a price tag of $45,800 for the C 300 and $47,800 for the 4MATIC variant. Exclusive brings on board features such as the PARKTRONIC park assist, the Surround View System with Guard 360o and a Burmester 3D surround system.
Pinnacle is – as the designation indicates – the pinnacle of the range. It comes with a price tag of $47,500. And as expected, customers will pay $2,000 more for the 4MATIC system. It sports the MB Navigation with MBUX Augmented Video and a head-up display.
All prices exclude the $1,050 destination and delivery fee.
