There is a Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 for sale on Bring a Trailer. So whoever places the highest bid will have to bring a really big trailer to take this giant home.

Or could better go home driving it, unless they live across the States. The 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, mated to an AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic 7-speed automatic transmission would eat up a lot while the car piles up miles. The odometer only shows 8,000 miles for the moment, which would be 12,875 kilometers. That’s really not much for a car that rolled off the assembly line in Magna Steyr, Austria, back in 2014. The future owner won’t travel much with it either. A letter from NHTSA shows that the truck was permitted to be imported into the U.S under a “show or display” exemption. That allows only limited on-road use of up to 2,500 miles per year.

The car you see here is one of the limited number that Mercedes built between 2013 and 2015. The exact number of beast with three portal axles is yet unknown and never to be disclosed. But there should be around 100, with most of them landing in the Middle East. This one somehow ended up in Santa Ana, California, to get some plastic and technical surgeries. And what’s obvious, it’s far from stock.

Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Brabus – So much carbon fiber you don’t know where to look

First, there is so much carbon fiber that you wouldn’t know where to start from. It’s on the hood, on the fenders, in the roof extensions, contrasting with the body in white. There is also an additional LED lighting bar up on the roof. The G 700 and the Brabus logo confirm that we’re dealing with something exclusive. The 700 indicates the current output: 700 horsepower. The mods’ list also includes Ohlin suspension, 18-inch Hutchinson beadlock wheels, a wood-paneled bed. 3-inch Brabus downpipes replaced the factory ones.

There is quilted leather on board this Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Brabus, in black and white, while the roof is wrapped in Alcantara. Heated and ventilated seats add up comfort, while the Harman Kardon sound system and the COMAN navigation round up the cabin equipment. The rear passengers can enjoy the view while off-roading or they can choose some entertainment watching the LCD screens on the headrests of the front seats.

There are 136 photos of the behemoth on the Bring a Trailer website if you want to check out all the details, after you browse through the photo gallery here. And maybe place a bid. The bidding ends in 9 days and it has already hit $800,000.
