Ten awards in just one competition! Yes, Mercedes-Benz can get them! It happened at the independent “Automotive Brand Contest” organized by the German Design Council to award car design and brand management.
Every year, there are 21 competition categories and four special categories in the “Automotive Brand Contest”. Mercedes-Benz got no less than ten of them, including two top rankings decided by the jury, with Ola Källenius, member of the Board of Management of Daimler AG, responsible for Mercedes-Benz Sales & Marketing, being selected as the “Brand Manager of the Year”.
The high-end interior of the most intelligent business sedan, E-Class, but also that of the super dynamic SUV GLC Coupe, got the “Best of the Best” trophy in the competition for their outstanding interior looks and features.
Not only the cars are getting attention in the design competition. The Ameluna pendant light especially designed by the Stuttgart-based design division, but also the luxury motor yacht Arrow460 – Granturismo, built in cooperation with the company’s partners under the label Mercedes-Benz Style, were selected as top-of-the-line products in their categories.
