Watch what happens when a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series is pitted against a Formula 1 car in a rather unbalanced drag race.
They say lessons are learned the easy way and the hard way. For a rather unlucky Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, it was the latter. The German coupe is by no means a slow car. Its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8, delivering 622 hp and 634 Nm, can push the SLS AMG Black Series from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
However, no performance version can outrun a Formula 1 car and the SLS AMG makes no exception. We’re talking about a W03 Formula One car driven by Michael Schumacher in the 2012 F1 season, packed with 760 hp coming from its 2.4-liter V8. In addition, the F1 car has the advantage when it comes to weight (650 kg), as it is twice as lighter than its german opponent (1,550 kg).
Things go from bad to worse for the SLS AMG Black Series as the Formula 1 car manages to cross the finish line 6 seconds earlier. For the entire show, make sure you watch the video below.
