The new Mercedes EQT is available for 49,499 euro in a standard wheelbase version with a 90 kW (122 hp) electric motor.
The Mercedes EQT will be available to order shortly at a price starting at 49,499 euro in the version with a 90 kW (122 hp) and 245 Nm front axle electric motor. An extended wheelbase version will follow later. The battery with a net capacity of 45 kWh can be charged at AC stations up to 22 kW or at DC stations from 10 to 80% with up to 80 kW in only 38 minutes. The charging socket is located behind the Mercedes logo at the front. The battery is placed on the floor in front of the rear axle.
At 4489 mm long and 1859 mm wide, the Mercedes EQT is as long and wide as the conventionally powered Mercedes T-Class. In contrast, the height of 1819 mm is 33 mm lower. The low 561 mm load sill makes it easier to load heavy objects, while the two standard side doors, which have an opening of 614 mm wide and 1059 mm high, allow comfortable access to the rear. In addition, the EQT is available with a heat pump to help keep the battery in the optimum operating range.
Like the T-Class, the Mercedes EQT is equipped with the MBUX multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connection, optional navigation, and Hey Mercedes, an intelligent voice assistant.
Active Lane Keeping Assist (works from 70 km/h), Blind Spot Assist, and Active Brake Assist are standard. In addition, Active Distance Assist Distronic adaptive cruise control and Active Steering Assist are available.
Like the Mercedes T-Class, the Mercedes EQT is built on the Renault Kangoo E-Tech platform with which it shares the engine and battery and will not use the new VAN.EA platform. The modular new platform VAN.EA announced a few days ago is only intended for Mercedes midsize and large class commercial vehicles.
