The new Mercedes-AMG SL can be ordered and configured. Prices start from 158,240.25 euro for the Mercedes-AMG SL 55 4Matic+ and from 187,097.75 euro for the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 4Matic+.
Available for now only with the V8 bi-turbo engine, having a sophisticated drivetrain with many innovations offered as standard and with upgraded standard equipment, the new Mercedes-AMG SL starts from quite high prices.
For example, integral steering and the new AMG Ride Control adaptive suspension is standard on both models. Optional on the SL 55 4Matic+ and standard on the SL 63 AMG 4Matic+ is the AMG Active Ride Control suspension with hydraulically actuated active anti-roll bars.
The SL 63 4Matic+ is equipped as standard with a lockable rear axle differential while ceramic brake discs with yellow-painted calipers costs 8,925 euro extra.
The SL 55 4Matic+ is fitted as standard with 19-inch AMG alloy wheels which can optionally be painted in silver or matt black while the SL 63 4Matic+ is equipped with 20-inch AMG 5-spoke alloy wheels. The wheel range comprises nine versions including 21-inch 10-spoke or 5-spoke forged wheels. 30 mm front axle lift when parking close to high kerbs costs 2,142 euro.
Twelve exterior colours are available including two exclusive colours – hyper blue metallic and MANUFAKTUR monza grey magno – and three colours for the fabric roof. Five exterior design packages are also available: AMG Aerodynamics, AMG Carbon, AMG Chrome, AMG Night and AMG Night II.
The second-generation MBUX multimedia system with 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen, hard-disk navigation and virtual instrument cluster displayed on the 12.3-inch screen are also standard as are the power-adjustable AMG seats and Airscarf neck warming system. AMG performance seats with adjustable side bolsters in Sport, Sport+ and Race are on the option list and has a price of 2,350.50 euro. Nappa leather upholstery costs 416.50 euro while exclusive MANUFAKTUR upholstery 1,785 euro.
