The Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with a good-looking partner in the passenger seat and teleportation feature on the option list. Well, at least that’s what we get from the 4-minute TV advertisement.

First he converts nighttime into daytime. When he gets stuck in a traffic jam, he snaps his fingers again and teleports himself into a plain rural road. He switches the AGILITY SELECT function to Sport and he starts a race by himself. But it’s almost time to pick up wife from work, so he moves back into the city by the same simple fingers snap. The woman is waiting and smiles when she sees them, but she knits her eyebrows when she notices that the Sport mode is on. A look from the bossy girlfriend is all he needs to move back into Comfort mode.

The city drive is comfortable and smooth, until he snaps his fingers once more and moves back – together with the wife and the car – into his solitary country road to pushes the pedal to the metal all over again. Their ride is interrupted only by the BAS PLUS with Cross-Traffic Assist beep, warning them there is an obstacle up front. The PRE SAFE PLUS system activates the lights to alert the car at the back that the Mercedes-Benz C-Class is stopped.

To keep the impure air out, the co-pilot wife clicks to activate the AIR BALANCE. And then they are back into a nighttime cityscape and the driver loses focus when he spots a car just like his. But the Active Lane Keeping Assist alerts him to pay attention.

And now it’s her turn to send the car back into the country road. A wet road on a rainy day with poor visibility. Lucky for them they get a helping hand from the PRE-SAFE Brake system.

DISTRONIC PLUS with Steering Assist is also going to help them out of the foggy dark night until they get back to the sunny L.A.

To keep his eyes on the road, there is the Head-up display, projecting important data on the windshield. But enough with the man behind the steering wheel. She hesitates, but eventually she does it: she teleports herself into the driving seat.

Candice Nunes is the all-smiles actress playing the part of the pretty wife. But sorry, she’s not on the options list. And nor is the teleportation feature.
