Susie Wolff has become the new official brand ambassador for She’s Mercedes, the program launched by Mercedes-Benz and dedicated to women. Susie is a former racer that also drove in Formula 1 and the wife of Toto Wolf, the Mercedes AMG PETRONAS executive.
The former pro driver joined the world of speed when she was just 14 years old. Back then, the Scottish-born Susie was racing around the track behind the wheel of a kart and winning just about any race for her age group.
Her fabulous results on the racetrack led to her being voted British Woman Kart Racing Driver every single year starting 1996 to 2000. Later on, she moved on to formula racing, then switched to driving for Mercedes-Benz in the DTM series, between 2006 and 2012. Almost four years ago, she became a test-driver for the Williams squad in Formula 1 and a rival to her husband’s team, Austrian Toto Wolf, the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS director. Now 33-year old, Susie decided to quit racing.
