Take a closer look – The first video of the long Mercedes-Benz E-Class

The limousine that brings 140 millimeters of extra space, comfort, elegance and intelligence has made its way to the Chinese market, as it was first displayed at this year’s Beijing Motor Show. We brought you the pictures, now here is the first ever video of the limousine.

The short film shows the E 320 4matic L Sport version of the long-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz E-Class. Passengers taking a seat in the rear of the saloon, which has been purpose-developed for China, enjoy the benefit of a considerably larger footwell area and seats with a host of comfort functions.

The video gives a detailed image of the interior of the saloon, especially developed to be a picture of contemporary luxury, stylishly reinterpreted for the Chinese market using high-class materials.

The standard-fit nine-stage automatic transmission 9G-TRONIC delivers dynamic performance with high ride comfort.

 

The sedan takes on winding roads as if they were wide city boulevards, ensuring the serenity of a vehicle floating above the road.

The long-wheelbase version of the E-Class is produced at Beijing Benz Automotive Co., Ltd. (BBAC) in Beijing for the Chinese market. BBAC is a joint venture between Daimler and the strategic partner BAIC.
