The pride and joy of Mercedes-Benz, the company’s flagship, the new Mercedes-Benz S-Class, has always been, throughout its long, prestigious history, one step ahead in the automotive world. Once again, the latest generation of the world’s best-selling saloon combines ground-breaking technologies with unparalleled ride comfort, all swiveling around the “Feel Intelligent Drive”.

Depending on the driving modes, the unique interaction adjusts air-conditioning, fragrance, light, music and seat massage to the mood of the occupants at the simple press of a button. In the stand-by mode, the video function ads extra-relaxing ambiance inside the S-Class. They all go under the name “ENERGIZING comfort control” and the company found just the right way to promote it in a one-of-a-kind short motion picture “Leon”, available on social media starting October 15th.

It is a humorous 90-second video, with a bad-tempered “lion” playing the leading part, representing the “alpha animal” in the business world. The cars functions tame the beast, turning it into a gently purring kitten. Far from having the time of his life, the head of the company roars and growls at everyone around who would dare a minor slip. But once the button is pushed, the bad mood vanishes into thin air.

“The campaign tracks the reorientation of Mercedes-Benz as a brand of “human-centered innovation” that consistently focuses on people and their needs,” says Natanael Sijanta, Head of Marketing Communications at Mercedes-Benz Cars. “No other vehicle in the luxury class is currently as intelligent as the new S-Class. With “Feel Intelligent Drive”, we show in an entertaining and humorous way how the latest, intelligent technologies perfectly match the needs of driver and front passenger.”

The ENERGIZING comfort control is already available for order starting this past September, for the price of 238 Euros (recommended price in Germany, VAT included).
