Zero, zero, zero. And 1 in front of it. Like in 1000. 1000 dollars in your pocket, 1000 surfers on the beach, 1000 books in the library, 1000 horsepower under the bonnet. Yeah, you got that right! 1000 horsepower, just like most Lamborghinis and Ferraris do! That’s what Mansory got out of the Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe!

The German tuning house altered both looks and power of the vehicle that now bears the name of S63 Coupe Black Edition and a breath-taking, jaw-dropping, mind-blowing, traffic-stopping power boost: it jumped from the standard 585 HP all the way to 1000 HP and from the 900 Nm torque to 1,400 Nm, all coming out of its 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. And naturally, the beast runs faster: from the usual 3.9 seconds in the 0 to 100 km/h sprint, it can now cover the same distance in 0.7 seconds less. Blink and you miss it! The Mansory bullet has been electronically limited at 300 km/h. Otherwise, it would probably take off like an airplane.

Enough with the tech specs, let’s check out that intriguing exterior. The S63 Coupe Black Edition is all dressed up in a carbon fiber body kit, that consists of custom spoilers, extended side skirts and wider fenders. The cream of the crop are the ventilated hood – the beast’s gotta breathe, right? – and the huge rear wing. The Mansory fiend wears massive 22-inch “Spider” rims, shod in Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 255/30 rubber for the front and 295/25 tyres in the back.

Only six such tantalizing Black Edition vehicles were built. One of the S63 Coupe Black Edition cars will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
