The new Brabus 800 Black & Golden Edition G63 is a daring approach of the iconic offroader. Based on the Mercedes-AMG G63, it is obvious to guess what the “800” designation comes from.

The new Brabus 800 Black & Golden Edition G63 comes with 800 horspeower instead of the usual 585 horsepower standard variant. The German tuner has also upgraded the models torque figures from 850 to 1,000 Nm.

A stainless-steel sports exhaust system with integrated actively controlled exhaust flaps provides it with the appropriate sound track.

The standard model requires 4.5 seconds to run from a standstill to 100 km/h, but the Brabus 800 Black & Gold Edition only needs 4.1 seconds. The standard hits a top speed of 240 km/h (149 mph), while the tuned one goes just as fast. Brabus has not added to much extra weight either.

The vehicle is painted in black with contrasting gold accents and wears a body kit that increases its width by no less than 10 centimeters. There is a carbon fiber hood that keeps the mass under control. The wheels wear 305/35 Advan Sport high-performance tires.

The interior follows the mysterious beasty looks of the exterior, with a black-and-gold theme. Gold accents can be seen on the air vents, steering wheel, center console, seats and varios buttons. Carbon fiber trim, aluminum pedals and custome stainless scuff plates complete the atmosphere.

Two individual sport seats replace the usual rear seating area. The rear passengers get their on console with an integrated 4.3-inch display for the control of the music volume, lights and starry sky headliner.

Brabus sells its latest creation with a starting price of €380,672 in Germany or $442,655 across the Atlantic, including tax.
