The new Mercedes-Benz Zetros has been designed with heavy duty on terrains that seem inaccessible to most trucks, in mind. The new generation of the iconic off-roader is here.
Since its arrival on the market, back in 2008, the Mercedes-Benz Zetros has been proudly standing as a highly capable 40-tonne vehicle, designed specifically for operations in areas with high proportions of off-road use.
The new generation has been completely reworked. It received a more potent 7.2-liter engine, that provides it with 510 horsepower and 2,400 Nm of torque.
The new model, also built in Worth, Germany, is easily distinguishable from the former generation, since it comes with a striking, newly drawn radiator grille, which provides a more effective cooling procedure thanks tot the optimized air-flow guidance.
Its permanent all-wheel drive system makes sure that the Zetros can reach unreachable destinations.
Various details improve the in-cab comfort. The redesigned instrument panel is now more user-friendly.
The new Mercedes-Benz Zetros continues to be available in Euro III and Euro V specs for markets with poor fuel quality. Thanks to its capabilities, the off-road truck is often used for delivering supplies to remote regions, as well as in energy exploration and in forestry operations.
