Two years after it came into the world, the Mercedes-AMG GT S still gets attention like a magnet pulls metal. It has got the right engine and the right looks to conquer the heart of tuning houses. Prior Design comes with a new version of the Affalterbach-made GT S. One in candy red.
The German tuning company has just made these photos public. They display the Mercedes super sporty, the S version, fitted with a widebody kit made of Fiberglass-Duraflex mix that gives it more impressive stance and aggressiveness. The tuning company representatives claim that the smart material mix provides extra flexibility combined with high stability, also allowing easy and inexpensive painting procedure.
The plastic modification targeted the addition of a new custom-made bonnet, integrating four air extractors, a prominent front splitter, side air vents flared front and rear wheel arches, side skirts, while the rear has been fitted with a ducktail spoiler, a new air diffuser and quad rear canards, all made of the same material mix.
As for the wheels that shod the red 4.0-liter V8-powered bullet that runs the 0-100 km/h distance in 3.9 seconds, they go by the name of PD3Forged Superlight, with an ultimate gold-look design. The top speed stays at 310 km/h (193 mph).
The experts at Prior Design can also offer a custom made interior, as well as a custom exhaust system, upon request.
