Mercedes-Benz will be putting on a grand show at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show next month. The highly-anticipated Mercedes-AMG A45 will be there and the premium car company will also be exhibiting the EQV MPV, the first electric van. World premiere also for the Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLC Coupe.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class

The new Mercedes-Benz V-Class Facelift arrived last month, prepared to set new benchmarks in the segment, five years after its appearance in the market, following 209,000 units sold worldwide.

For the first time in the range, there comes the four-cylinder OM 654 diesel engine. The top-of-the-line variant, the V 300, boasts 239 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, together with a top speed of 220 km/h and a 0-100 km/h in 7.9 seconds, reaching the best values in the MPV segment. When accelerating, the vehicle briefly gets 30 Nm of extra torque.

Mercedes-Benz EQV

Mercedes-Benz Vans is now working on what will be the first fully-electric MPV, under the umbrella of the EQ sub-brand. The “Concept EQV” will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The new V-Class can be ordered in Europe starting next March, with prices in Germany starting at 36,990 Euros, VAT included, but prices will be totally different for the zero-emission variant.

Mercedes-Benz GLC facelift

The Mercedes-Benz GLC and GLC Coupe are scheduled to get their facelift and go on sale this summer, so Geneva would be the right place for at least the standard version to be introduced.

The engine range is most likely to get the new OM 654 2.0-liter diesel engine in three ouput variants: 150, 194 and 245 horsepower, while a hybrid and a Plug-in Hybrid model will arrive later on.

Mercedes-AMG A 45

The A45 is set to get more more aggressive than its sibling already presented, A35, introduced this past September. The car will get the Panamericana radiator grille at the front and the four-tailpipe exhaust at the opposite end, accompanied by a massive rear wing.

The model will get the company’s new turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that will develop 421 horsepower, coupled to the new 8-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, instead of the 7-speed transmission fitted in the A35.
