We talked before about certain tuners and their need to improve a model’s performances even if that particular model is wearing the AMG plate, and now we shall do it again as VATH had a surprise for the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG.
You can safely praise the Mercedes E63 AMG for a lot of qualities, but being fast and powerful are the most obvious ones. As it leaves the AMG facility, the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S Estate packs 585 hp and 800 Nm from a twin-turbo 5.5-litre V8 engine. Of course, that didn’t impress VATH.
Therefore, the German tuner has released a power boost package for the E63 AMG Estate. Once installed, it will lift the power output to 750 hp while the maximum torque reaches 1,000 Nm. All the figures above translate into a top speed of 350 km/h.
These changes have been made possible by altering the turbochargers, installing a custom exhaust and of course, the regular electronic engine tweaks.
With more power comes more responsibility and of course, higher prices. This is why VATH is offering its performance package for €24,700, but for extra cash, you can get even more goodies.
For example, you can install lowering springs which bring the car closer to the road by 20-40 mm for an extra €1,166 or you can opt for a carbon fiber front spoiler for €1,416.
Wait, there’s more. For €238 you can get a rear carbon diffuser, for €3,927 the cabin gets a complete set of enhancements and the sports steering wheel will leave you without €1,297.
