Mercedes-Maybach has always gone one ace up its sleeve for the Chinese Motor Show. A 30-second video teaser hints to a luxury Mercedes-Maybach-badged concept to be revealed by the end of the month.

China stands as the top market for luxury cars and Mercedes owes its ever-record-breaking sales figures to the Chinese. Therefore, the company is keen on preparing something special for the Asian customers. The German premium car maker will show its latest Maybach creation at the Beijing Motor Show by the end of the month.

Not much is revealed by the video posted with the caption “Luxury at its finest”, that shows typical Mercedes-Maybach features, such as the double M logo, the massive center console, the perforated leather of the four individual ventilated seats, aluminum inserts in the steering wheel and wooden inserts in the doors and dashboard. The touchpad of the Comand infotainment system, as well as three small-sized displays integrated in the lower section of the center console are visible in the images. The central display seems to show the body style of a high-ride vehicle with a plunging roofline and short overhangs. The floral decorations and golden elements shown in the short film might catch the eye of the Chinese customers.

Taking inspiration in the awing Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept shown two years ago, the new automobile features a retro-style split rear window. The real deal will be shown on April 25th, when the Chinese Motor Show kicks off in Beijing.
