World’s smartest luxury sedan, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, shows up in the final video teaser, ahead of its official reveal. Less than 24 hours are left to the online event.

Mercedes-Benz will drop the curtain that hides the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The W223 will show up tomorrow, 2nd of September, in an online event that will start at 2:00 p.m (Central European Summer Time – CEST).

The premium company posted the final teaser on its Facebook page, revealing key-elements of the revolutionary cabin. Therefore, the video shows the brand-new front and rear light signature of the model, with 3D design.

The instrument cluster, that found its place directly behind the steering wheel, instead of the classical placement, also shows up in the 22-second video.

There are also the 12.8-inch portrait touchscreen in the center console and the key fob of the future luxury sedan.

The teaser also shows the rectangular air vents that replace the round ones and the active ambient lighting. The inflatable headrests and the reclining rear seats, featuring in the video, are most likely reserved for the top-of-the-range Maybach variant.

„The #SClass stands for fascination” is the caption that accompanies the video posted on Facebook.

What makes the future Mercedes-Benz S-Class the world’s smartest luxury sedan?

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be a revolutionary model. The premium car company has already made that clear. It will be the first series production model to feature frontal airbags for rear passengers. Both will be mounted in the backrest of the front seats.

If unofficial reports will turn out to be real, it will also be the first series production model to feature Level 3 autonomous driving, after Audi dropped its plans.

Rear-axle steering for better manouvrability and sharpness, as well as Pre-Safe Impulse Side collision, that lifts the car by 3 centimeters in order to protect occupants in case of a side impact, will also be part of the menu.

Furthermore, rear passengers will be able to control, via their own center console, what the front screens display. People onboard will have the opportunity to command the air conditioning, the massage functions and the sunroof via voice control.
