There’s something about the Mercedes cars. Whatever the design and the engine the hood hides, they all look good in black. That’s what Mansory thought when they blacked out this Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. And it’s not just the looks that they worked on.

You can buy looks (yeah, cars undergo plastic surgeries, too), you can buy output, you can even find a replacement for displacement nowadays. But you can’t just go out there and buy status. Instead, you can buy a car that pretty much provides it. And the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 is surely one of those cars. Especially after it drove out the Mansory tuning shop.

A carbon front lip and a new radiator grille, plus a diffuser made of the same material at the opposite end have you covered. In between the two, there is a carbon fiber hood, carbon mirror housings, and fender extensions.

Customers can choose one of the nine sets of multi-spoke wheels available, with sizes of either 23 or 24 inches.

For the cabin, Mansory prepared something to go along with the newly enhanced exterior looks. It goes by the name of Mansory Individualized Interior Kit and it brings a sport steering wheel, an aluminum-punched pedal set, velour or leather floor mats, and a velour or leather mat for the trunk.

The Mercedes-AMG GLS rolls off the assembly line with the company’s 4.0-liter biturbo V8 with 610 PS (603 HP) and 850 Nm (625 lb-ft) of torque. But those seemed insufficient for the tuning experts. You know them, they always believe there’s room for more. And we won’t argue with that.

If the customer wants to go all in, the P850 package now takes the SUV all the way to 850 PS (838 HP) and 1,100 Nm (81 lb-ft). For those who would settle for less, which is still a lot, there is the P720 Package, that comes along with 720 PS (710 HP) and 1,000 Nm of torque (737 lb-ft).

All is well as long as they don’t put a bull bar on the car.
