There are two weeks left before Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS will present this year’s car and the Mercedes CEO, Dieter Zetsche, paid a visit to the team to motivate them for the last hundred yards.
For the speech of the VIP guests, all the employees of Brackley and Brixworth gathered downstairs. Team manager Toto Wolff played the part of the guide for Dieter Zetsche and Olla Kallenius and took them to the laboratory where the racing car is being set up, but also around the facility to meet the engineers who have come a long way for the three consecutive Constructors’ World Championship titles.
In a relaxed atmosphere, the German chief with a great sense of humor pointed to the trophies that make up the fabulously rich collection of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS, placed right in the entrance hall.
Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS will present this season’s racing car on February 24th and will afterwards depart for Barcelona for the first official testing.
