There is still a chance for the extravagant rich to get the ultra-exclusive Mercedes-AMG Project One, the car that has been sold out before it was eve n presented to the public. A dealership in Munich is selling it for almost double the price.
The Mercedes-AMG Project One hypercar hasn’t even hit the assembly lines and has been sold out, but one appeared from out of nowhere. The unit powered by a 1.6-liter V6 combustion engine and four electric motors, is being listed for €4.51 million or $5.23 million if it should hit the United States.
The seller of the over 1,000-horsepower monstrous vehicle is none other than a dealership from Munich, Germany, posting the sales announcement on the popular Mobile.de. The announcement mentions that the delivery date is sometime around the second quarter of 2019.
The price is somewhat odd, since the official price for the exhilarating means of transportation is €2.27 million ($2.63 million).
Labeled as the world’s first road legal car sporting a Formula 1 powertrain, the Mercedes-AMG Project One will be sold in an extremely limited number: just 275 units are to be build, with all of them having already been accounted. The first production models will be reaching their new owners in mid-2019.
