Aftermarket body conversions are not so extraordinary anymore. But when a Mercedes-Benz G-Class is involved, we know for sure that we’re dealing with something quite peculiar. Here’s one of the strangest vehicles out there.

This elongated G-Class marches the streets of Chișinău, the capital of the Republic of Moldavia. The former SUV-current sedan photographed by autoblog.md, is totally different form the cars converted to be used as super-stretched limousines for special events, that reach up to 12 meters long. This one is around 6 meters long and it breathes “original” through every pore.

Of course, it is not made by Mercedes-Benz itself, but it is the result of a specialized workshop that provided it with a stretched wheelbase and granted it with an extra central pillar.

No further details are known about the surprising apparel from Eastern Europe, but the photos confirm that we are dealing with a V8-powered G Wagon. Considering the power unit, it might be a G 500, a G 550, a G 55 AMG or a G 63 AMG, that would bring it in excess of 400 horsepower.
