The Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4² Final Edition will be present at the Geneva Motor Show these days, with the inscription that highlights its exclusivity: “1 of 5”.

The German tuning house calls it a “heavy-duty off-road supercar”. It is based on the former-generation Mercedes-AMG G63 and bears the super complex geometry of the portal axles, sporting a ground clearance of 600 mm (23.6 inches), making it look like a giant.

Brabus replaced the standard 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a 6.0-liter unit, the company’s most powerful eight-cylinder. The unit is capable of producing 850 horsepower and a torque of 1,450 Nm. This is how the off-roader ended up accelerating from a standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.7 seconds and hitting a top speed of 210 km/h (130 mph), even if shod with off-road tires.

The modifications list includes a carbon radiator grille with the Brabus logo and a carbon spare wheel cover at the opposite end, front and rear skid plates, Brabus carbon fender flares and 22-inch wheels with Pirelli Scorpion ATR tires. The roof now sports a spoiler above the windshield, an additional pair of daytime running lights, while a scoop found room in the bonnet.

The tuning company interfered with the cab of the machinery as well. Therefore, the 850 6.0 Biturbo 4×4² Final Edition “1 of 5” gets an all-leather interior with blue detailing and a new 2+2 seating layout.

The off-road-ready monster can be ordered for €482,000 ($547,000) in Europe, with the price including 19% VAT.
