The Mercedes-AMG G63 received an all-wood nautics-inspired interior. It is the creation of Carlex Design and it is dedicated to the luxury and marine style enthusiasts.

The Mercedes-AMG G63 now looks like a luxury yacht. The tuning specialist has created what the company calls the G-Yachting Limited Edition.

The SUV received a two-tone exterior in silver brushed paint and matte and glossy black. “We are inspired by yachts and an amazing sea horizon”, the Carlex reps claim when asked by Facebook users why the paint job is not finished.

The off-roader now sits on massive shiny multi-spoke 22-inch silver wheels.

Carlex has chosen two trim updates, one in cognac and another wine in a bright tone of white. The color scheme selected by the Polish tuner focuses on the seats, the headliner, the floor, the center console, the armrest, the door panels and dashboard. Everything is covered either in a wood-like tone or an all-white one. The seats leather imitates the wood texture as well, highlighting the opulence of an elegant deck.

Old-school G-Class. Childhood memories of the oldest SUV

The cargo space has been covered in wood and a giant G-Yachting emblem, depicting a combination of the Mercedes star logo and a compass, shows up on the headliner dressed in Alcantara leather.

Carlex keeps the price of the transformation under wraps and also keeps the secret on a possible change in output of the 4.0-liter biturbo V8 that standardly develops 577 horsepower (585 PS) and 627 pound-feet (850 Nm) of torque.

There is also an X-Class for yacht enthusiasts

The Polish specialists have also worked their magic on an X-Class, a sweet spot for them, apparently, considering their latest works on the model that is living its final days before the halt of production this upcoming May. They came up with a Yachting Styling Package. The interior also features a nautical touch.

The premium pick-up truck has received a bed covered in wood panels and it looks so good that no one would ever dare put any shar items that may damage the fine finish.
