Mercedes-AMG GLE Edition 55 Revealed To Join the Anniversary Party

The anniversary year of AMG brings another limited edition version. This time, it is the Mercedes-AMG GLE Edition 55, both in SUV and Coupe shapes.

Mercedes-AMG is throwing a party for the enthusiasts of the sports brand. The Mercedes-AMG GLE Edition 55 follows in the footsteps of the Mercedes-AMG A 35 and 45 and G 63. All, of course, bearing the same last name: Edition 55.

The anniversary GLE will be available until December. Customers are thus getting their cars in obsidian black metallic or MANUFAKTUR diamond white bright, the 22-inch AMG forged wheels and specific trim parts in carbon matt black. Naturally, the Edition 55 badge shows up just about everywhere, wheel hub covers included.

The Mercedes-AMG GLE Edition 55 will standardly get the AMG Night Package. It brings along exterior elements in high-gloss black such as the front splitter and the trim strip of the AMG front apron. Side mirror housings, window surrounds and rear apron are also in high-gloss black. The fuel filler cap sports a silver chrome finish with the AMG lettering on it.

Onboard the SUV and the SUV Coupe, customers will get the pampering and the sporty ambiance of the exclusive edition. There are contrasting black and red all over the cabin. There is the AMG Performance steering wheel in DINAMICA microfiber on board. The driver and front passenger will be seating in AMG seats in two-tone Nappa leather in pepper/black. Black AMG floor mats of velour with red stitching display the Edition 55 lettering in red.

Six versions of the Mercedes-AMG GLE will be available as Edition 55s. The list includes the GLE 53 4MATIC+, GLE 63 4MATIC+, GLE 63 S 4MATIC+, and their coupe versions. Check prices of the Edition 55 package in the table below.
