Performance has a price, literally. The new Mercedes-AMG E-Class models are available for order

The new Mercedes-AMG E-Class facelift models are now available for order. Prices start at 82,285 euros in Germany. The fans of the high-performance E-Class models now have the chance to order their preferred model at authorized dealers.

The list of the newly available models includes the E 53 4MATIC+ Coupe, the E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet, the E 63 S 4MATIC+ Saloon and the E 63 S 4MATIC+ Estate.

They all received a redesigned front apron and the AMG-specific radiator grille with vertical louvers, that was first added to the Mercedes-AMG GT R three years ago, with a performance demonstration carried out by six-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton. New slimmer headlights flank the radiator grille, while, at the opposite end, new tail lights complete the aggressive, yet elegant design of the E-Class performance family.

The interior also confirms the dynamic personality of the models. It comes complete with the Widescreen Cockpit, with the new AMG Performance steering wheel and the latest generation of the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system. The latter includes AMG-specific functions, highlighting the legacy of the AMG sporty genes.

How much do the AMG E-Class models cost?

The Mercedes-AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Coupe starts at 82,284.60 euros. Customers will though have to begin negotiations for the Cabriolet variant at 87,690.20 euros.

Those who specifically desire the most potent members of the E-Class family must consider the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4MATIC+ Saloon or Estate in their S variant. They share the the same output delivered by the 4.0-liter V8 engine. The estate begins at 122,159.60 euros, while customers will have to pay 124.978.40 euros for the estate version.
