In line with tradition, the AMG division of Mercedes-Benz organises AMG winter driving courses on snow and ice not only in Lapland, but also in Saalfelden, Austria. New is also the one-day training programme in Austria. Here are the prices for all driving courses.

Arjeplog is a well-known destination for the automotive industry as manufacturers have been testing prototypes in winter conditions there for years.
Also there, some manufacturers offer ice and snow driving courses directly on the frozen lakes in the area where prototypes are tested.

At Arjeplog, on a 337,000 sq m frozen lake, various handling tracks are set up where drivers can drive their cars on 90 cm thick ice. They can experience everything from driving on slippery ice surfaces to ones covered in solid snow – a perfect scenario for a feeling of traction and steering precision.

Due to the energy crisis that has led to massive inflation, Mercedes-AMG has decided to offer a more affordable, one-day driving course starting this year, with overnight accommodation at a closer destination in Saalfelden in Austria.
It is called Discover and is aimed at beginners and takes place at the Driving Technique Experience Centre of the Austrian Automobile Club ÖAMTC.
