The AMG world-premieres displayed on the 2014 Paris Motorshow are now ready for the unpatient buyers. Mercedes-Benz has revealed the prices for the supersport Mercedes-AMG GT, but also for the most powerful C-Class, in the form of Mercedes-AMG C63 & C63 S.
Everybody knows that the new Mercedes-AMG GT is the answer to Porsche 911, and the last piece of the puzzle was the price range. Until now. Ladies and gentlemen, the Mercedes-AMG GT starts from €115,430 in Germany, which is 25,000 euros more than the most affordable 911.
But if we compare the AMG GT (462 HP) to the more appropiate 911 Carrera S (400 HP), the difference scales down to almost 10,000 euros. The Mercedes-AMG GT S (510 HP) starts from €134,351 in Germany, which is much less than the €165,149 required by Porsche 911 Turbo (520 HP).
The Mercedes-AMG C63 is more affordable, starting in Germany from €76,100, while the more powerful C63 S starts from €84,371. The Estate variants require some 1,666 euros more, which means C63 Estate costs €77,765, while the C63 S Estate is €86,037. The C63 S Edition 1 is very close to €100,000.
The Mercedes-AMG C63 costs almost €5,000 more than it’s rival BMW M3 in Germany, while the C63 Estate is only €215 more than the Audi RS4 Avant (read the Mercedesblog.com comparison between these three models). Both AMG-GT and AMG C63 will be available for german customers in the first quarter of 2015.
