Remember how you started drawing on walls and made your parents terribly angry, but camouflaging a smile when you were about 4 or 5? What if you had a Mercedes-Benz to draw on?
South-Korean kids participating in a road safety program in Seoul had a Mercedes-Benz to paint on. And so they had their way with it.
The car was displayed by Mercedes-Benz in an exhibition of paintings created by children, coordinated by the 2015 Mercedes-Benz Mobile Kids program, an international road safety convention for elementary school students. The exhibition is open in Seoul, at the Mercedes-Benz Songpa Showroom until March, 23rd.
The coordinators aim at making both children and parents aware of the danger that is out there, while riding at the back of a car or simply being a pedestrian and taking cautions against it.
The main attraction of the show is the Mercedes-Benz E350 Avantgarde, covered in printed patterns entirey made from children’s drawings. The special vehicle is used only for educational purpose and, after being displayed for two weeks at the showroom, it will be donated to the Mobile Kids Academy and will not be on sale. Well, maybe only if a parent will pay extra for the unique design colors produced by their super talented offsprings.
The traffic safety education program called Mobile Kids and developed together with Mercedes-Benz has already reached 160 million children in 13 countries around the world.
