After the leak from last week, Mercedes-Benz finally revealed the US pricing for the AMG GT S, set to arrive in April on the American market.

It turned out that the starting price stated by the leak was the correct one, so basically Mercedes-Benz just had to confirm that. Therefore, the AMG GT S will be sold in the United States with a starting price of $129,900, plus an additional $925 destination/delivery fee.

As you all probably know by now, the AMG GT S version packs 503 hp and 650 Nm of torque coming from a twin-turbo V8 engine connected to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox able to shoot the car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds.

The AMG GT S also comes with a consistent list of standard features, including Nappa Leather, Keyless-Go, COMAND infotainment system, AMG Adaptive Suspension, AMG 3-Stage ESP. In terms of security and assistance functions, we remind the Collision Prevention Assist PLUS and Parktronic systems plus a rearview camera and eight airbags.

The U.S. market launch of the GT S is due in April 2015, while the base GT variant will go on sale in the U.S. in early 2016.
