What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. RENNtech is sending a modified Mercedes-AMG ambassador to Las Vegas to show their best assets at the 2015 SEMA. They now present the Mercedes sporty with racing strips along the body dressed in a carbon fiber aero kit.
The RENNtech AMG GT Project car now features wider air intakes, lowered suspension to make the car like it’s glued to the ground, a bold splitter, extended side skirts and an adjustable DTM-style rear wing. That is as far as the teasing picture goes, so we’re still waiting to see the tail pipes and expecting a new air diffuser, too.
Matte grey 10-spoke forged wheels with chrome red outter rims, manufactured by ADV.1, perfectly match the strip paint job.
RENNtech thought that the 4.0-liter V8 AMG engine can do more than 510 HP and they got 532 out of it.
The photo is, for the moment, nothing but the teaser for the project car RENNtech will be displaying at SEMA, Specially Equipment Market Association. Formerly known as the Speed Equipment Manufacturing Association, the event attracts more than 100 000 industry tuning houses from all over the world, all fit inside the Las Vegas Convention Center for three days every November.
SEMA is all about tuning. From performance to just car looks enhancement, this year’s edition is putting on display intimidating vehicles. The Bisimito’s 900 HP Mustang, the Hyundai Veloster by Blood Type Racing or the 2-door gullwing MV Designz Toyota Mirai, together with the gigantic Toyota “Tundarasine” are all there.
