North Korean leader Kim Jong Un gets his armored Mercedes limousines from sources that are unknown to the premium car maker.

Kim Jong Un met South Korean President Moon Jae-in on a discussion on nuclear bombs. The Kim Jong Un showed up in an armored Benz that raised eyebrows and questions once again.

At the Vladivostok station, before a meeting to the Russian President Vladimir Putin, Kim was awaited by two limos, a Mercedes-Maybach S600 Pullman Guard and a Mercedes-Maybach S62. The S600 Pullman Guard is the one that carried him to Singapore last year in June, for his meetings with the United States President, Donald Trump, a Mercedes-Benz vehicles fleet owner himself, and the one he used in Hanoi, Vietnam, in February.

Mercedes-Benz representatives state that the company has not supplied any vehicles to the North Korean dictator, since the country is not one of the premium car company’s customers, but the shots that show the leader’s security staff running next to the three-pointed star sedan in Panmunjom, South Korea, a couple of days ago, has gone viral.

Oh, no, Mr. President! The 10-year old presidential Mercedes breaks down. Check out who came to save the President!

“We have absolutely no idea how those vehicles were delivered to North Korea,” Daimler spokeswoman Silke Mockert stated in a written response to an Associated Press report on the limousines.

He further noted that “For Daimler, the correct export of products in conformance with the law is a fundamental principle of responsible entrepreneurial activity.”

The United Nations ban the sale of luxury goods to North Korea, in an attempt to force the state stop the nuclear weapons.
