The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, especially in its AMG form, has always attracted a lot of attention, with some of it easily branded as “unwanted”.

While we’re all for power and quick acceleration, the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG is the reason we sometimes dislike the big off-roader. Why? Well, because due to its tremendous power it’s a constant target for all sorts of tuning houses who take advantage of the bulky shape and aggressive demeanor to come up with cars that, sometimes, are scary in more ways than one.

Prindiville Design is a British company owned and founded by Alex Prindiville that specializes in coachbuilding and parts manufacturing for premium brands (Ferrari, Jaguar, Land Rover, BMW, Audi and, of course, Mercedes-Benz) with a very large experience in working with carbon fiber.

This last aspect immediately becomes obvious the second you look at their Indomitable G, a Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG made to look like a footballer wearing a black protective mask – think Cesc Fabregas of Chelsea and you wouldn’t be too far off.

The main part of Prindiville’s work consists of a 30 part body kit made entirely out of large weave carbon fiber which the customer can opt to get in a matte or lacquered finish. The body kit parts range from the completely new front and rear bumpers to a new hood, extended wheel arches, side skirts, headlights and taillights surrounds, door mirrors or spare wheel cover.

Speaking of wheels, the Prindiville package also offers a set of custom huge six spoke rims that perfectly compliment the look of the car. There’s also a minor performance bump, the V8 engine pumping out 50 hp more than in the standard G 63 AMG. This is done with the help of a remapped ECU and a Prindiville exhaust system, but the company says that should the customers want even more power, they’re willing to help. Prindiville also modified the gearbox, disc brakes and calipers in order to better cope with the extra power.

The interior of the show car features dark leather and alcantara with red stitching, but that’s only one of the many colors and materials combinations that will be available for the customer to choose from.

The price for this conversion is roughly 250.000 sterling pounds (343.500 euros), but it may vary depending on personal preferences. Also, there’s a limited number of Indomitable Gs that will see the light of day (that is if the owners won’t actually keep them chained in a dark cave, which would make perfect sense consider how the car seems to want to stab you to death the first time you’re not paying attention), so be quick about it if you fancy a somewhat unique design for your G 63 AMG.
