As extreme as no other in the world, the Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² goes one step further. The Gruma project, based on the famous off-roader, is an armored G500 4×4².

Built by the German company Gruma in collaboration with Armored Car Systems, the armored G was inspired by the patrol G-Class used by the German Armed Forces, especially designed to provide protection against assault rifle ammunition and against tank mines.

Gruma indicates no shift in the output of the model powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, but there should be a tweak since the armor layer makes the vehicle way heavier and less agile.

The armored Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4² now comes with a new name, thus becoming the Enok P1. And even though it looks as if it is ready to go to war and fight half of the globe on its own, the off-roader maintains its luxurious interior, a sneak-peak through the open doors reveals.

There are carbon fiber elements, there is an extensive use of black leather and Alcantara, with everything covered in dark shades, appropriate for the exterior looks of the iconic off-roader.

Gruma keeps the price undisclosed, but with all the panels changing, hood and rear redesigned and manhole lid in the roof, the car should be miles away from cheap.
